It ia an innovative approach to crime prevention embracing a multi-faceted initiative that incorporates projects to increase awareness and reporting whilst addressing the fear of crime.

NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH
Neighbourhood Watch is an Australiasian wide program to help neighbours watch out for neighbours.
It is an effective means of combating burglary, theft & vandalism as a result of people working together to increase the level of supervision of homes and their immediate environment and reducing the opportunities for desirable goods to be stolen.
Neighbourhood Watch -
demonstrates that people care and have pride in their community
shows that a community is welcoming and inclusive
demonstrates community spirit
prevents crime
helps people share information among neighbours and Police
demonstrates people know how to keep themselves safe
helps reassure people and therefore reduces the fear of crime and isolation
